Stop the Proposed Mineral Extraction Site in Frating Village
Essex County Council have proposed a possible Mineral Extraction site to be built in the heart of Frating
THE SIZE OF 60 FOOTBALL PITCHES AT 47 HECTARES WHICH IS 116 ACRES OR 10% OF THE SIZE OF FRATING VILLAGE
The work on this proposed site will have an effect on the village for at least 20 years. It will blight the fabric of our community and destroy the environment.
Frating village already has an approved haulage depot, 2 active extraction sites in Great Bentley Road whose HGVs all travel through our village with up to 60 lorries a day. If this site is approved this will increase by an additional 100 HGV movements per day.
